So, I showed up at MIT team practice. We went out to Wells Ave. in Newton and did some Team Time Trial practice. Interesting point: TTT is MITs speciallty, and its not hard to see why: they actually practice the techniques involved. That and they (er, we) have a good coach. Oh, and the wind tunnel research helps too. Anyway, here are some pics. Yours truely is not so good at drafting and TTT, but I got a lot better over the course of the morning.

You gotta close the gap on that sweeping downhill corner. Of course, I'm pretty scared in line right now too.
Yeah, I was definitely not as aggressive as I needed to be. I rode for a while with the mens A group, and they we're very solid. I learned a lot from them
You'd learn pretty quick if you were riding with Todd and Barton too. I found the good ballance between fear of falling off and fear of rubbing wheels to be in the 4--6inch range. Also, an important piece of team technique is to share the last few wheels on the way back.
From riding with you in the past, I've noticed that you slow up too much when you're closing and over-compensate when you're falling back, so you oscillate a lot. I've found it to be more efficient to keep the pressure close to constant and do speed regulation by pulling a few inches out of the draft.
